Snug and Comfort Home Care Services Ltd. was founded by Pamela Mirabile and Licensed with The Illinois Department of Public Health. After studying Residential Care at Stockport College in Manchester, England for two years. Pamela continued on with her education at Manchester University School of Nursing in England receiving a Diploma in Nursing. She relocated to South Africa where she continued her career in nursing and healthcare for 21 years.  Pamela spent several years in general hospital settings bedside nursing and geriatric nursing. Moving to the administrative side of healthcare Pamela was involved in Medical Underwriting and Healthcare Insurance. In 1997 she received a Diploma in Management from Damlin University South Africa. Shortly thereafter, she was contracted to set up a healthcare office and upgrade a hospital in Ghana, West Africa on a two year project. In 2001 Pamela relocated to the USA. In the USA Pamela was a Manager of a Blood Bank and a Plasma Center for 15 years. After living and working in Healthcare on three different continents, Pamela observed that we all have at least one thing in common, compassion and care for our senior citizens. 

Abe Hernandez started taking care of his grandfather from a very young age. This started him on his path to health and home care. He realized he had a gift at making peoples life easier and happier in times of need. Having a compassionate nature and an affinity towards elder care Abraham has joined Snug and Comfort Home care while continuing his education in Nursing.  Abraham is the Will County Regional Manager with Snug & Comfort Home Care. He has become a familiar and friendly associate in the Will County Elder Care community. In this role, Abraham coordinates and manages a team providing excellent home care for your love one’s.  Abraham is a qualified Electrocardiogram Technician, Certified Nurse Assistant and currently completing his studies at Joliet College for his Register Nursing degree.  He is compassionate and understanding having worked in Elder Care facilities in pursuit of his career goals. He understands the stress and concerns an aging relative can have on families and wants to be a part of the solution to allow your relatives to age in place gracefully and comfortably.

Tom Mirabile is the Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer of Snug and Comfort. He has a bachelors and masters in sociology and urban studies. A Juris Doctor in Law, and Advance Law degree in health law, and a Graduate Certificate in Applied Gerontology. Tom several published articles in relating to health topics. Tom’s worldly health insight helps Snug and Comfort understand and utilize ground breaking strategies and methods across the globe to help our seniors here at Snug and Comfort.

Tom is also Snug and Comfort’s Chief Compliance Officer, he ensures that we are always 100% compliant with all state and federal regulations. Snug and Comfort take great pride in holding all of its caregiver’s and Snug and Comfort to the highest standards.
